The Concept
I essentially wanted to create a video project as a way to expand on my knowledge and instructional design skills. I decided to create a short interactive video based on general customer service skills.

The Design
I used a few sources to grab stock video footage, but Canva was the main resource. I used a few techniques to add some visual interest to the footage, such as speeding up a small section of the opening sequence, as seen below.
I created five sections, each based on the quiz question and used different stock videos to enhance these sections. I used an AI voice from Luvvoice to add a professional-sounding narration that I scripted as a means to teach the user. Each quiz question follows the narration, so the user can use the information they just heard to answer the question.
I grabbed the background music from Pixabay and ensured the volume was lowered each time the narration begins as heard in the video below.

Final Thoughts
I can learn new software very quickly and have the ability to create new and interesting projects, using Articulate Storyline and now, Camtasia. I'm planning on learning more video editing software, with Vyond as my next port of call.

In a real-life scenario, I will work with the SME and conduct as many interviews as necessary for information gathering and produce a training module that will effectively train staff.
